All NABCEP Certifications except the NABCEP PV Associate certification require OSHA training. Most require OSHA 10 training. The PV COMMISSIONING & MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST (PVCMS) is the only Certification that requires OSHA 30 training.

Pro-tip! For certifications that have credits that can be obtained from non-accredited institutions, OSHA 30 can be used for these hours. For instance, PVIP has a total of 58 hours. 18 of them can be from non-accredited institutions. In this case, if OSHA 30 is taken instead of OSHA 10, the 18 elective hours would be covered by the extra OSHA hours.
