Choosing the right Certification
Deciding which NABCEP certification is right for you can be daunting. Follow the page down to figure out what certification is right for your career goals, what the requirements are to obtain it, and which courses are available to get you there.
If you’re just starting in the solar industry and have no previous experience I suggest going for the PV Associate Certification. This will give you some great base knowledge, and show employers you’re dedicated and driven to get started in the solar industry. Once you get some experience and determine which career path you want to go down, start working toward a professional NABCEP credential. Most employers will help cover the costs associated with these credentials and ensure you get the on-the-job experience required to qualify.
